There’s Always Something
Running a business means there’s always something that needs your attention. Something to set up, sort out, connect, change, figure out, or finally deal with. Sometimes you know exactly what needs to happen. Other times, you’re not even sure who you’re supposed to ask.
Whatever brought you here, start with what you know. I'll take it from there.
What does "something" look like?
Maybe your email suddenly stopped syncing and you have no idea why.
Maybe you got an alarming email and you can't tell if it's legitimate, something you need to deal with, or something you can just delete and move on from.
Maybe the content is ready, but the blog still needs to be uploaded, the newsletter needs to go out, or those Facebook posts need to get scheduled.
Maybe you want people to book appointments online, but you're not sure how your scheduling tool, calendar, payment system, and confirmation emails are all supposed to work together.
Maybe you've been hanging onto something that mostly still works, but you're starting to wonder if keeping it going is more trouble than it's worth.
These don't all need the same kind of help. That's the point.
So, What Happens Next?
We start with a conversation. Tell me what's going on, what you're trying to do, what you've already tried, or just show me the thing that's making you crazy. You don't need to prepare a technical explanation before we talk.
01. First, we figure out what we're looking at.
Sometimes the answer is pretty straightforward. I may be able to tell you what needs to happen just from our conversation.
Other times, I need to take a closer look. If that's the case, I'll let you know. An assessment gives me time to figure out what's involved and what it will take to move forward.
02. Then, I'll tell you what I recommend.
That might be a one-time fix, a larger project, a 1:1 session for some guidance, or ongoing support.
It might also be, “Don't spend your money on that. You don't need it.”
And if what you need falls outside the work I do, I'll tell you that too.
03. You decide what happens from there.
If there's work to be done, I'll tell you what I'm recommending and what it will cost. Then you decide whether you want to move forward.
It Depends on What You Need
I can figure out what's going on, take something off your plate, give you the guidance to handle it yourself, or simply be the person you know you can come back to when you need help.
Assessment / Review
Something isn't working, your setup needs a closer look, or you're not sure what needs to happen next. I'll dig in, figure out what's involved, and give you a clear path forward.
Projects
You need something specific set up, fixed, organized, migrated, or taken off your plate. I'll handle it for you.
1:1 Support
You want to handle it yourself, but you could use some guidance along the way. Bring your questions or your list, and I'll help you figure out what to do and how to do it.
Monthly Support
For existing clients who want someone they can come back to when things pop up, without figuring out who handles what every time.

And the other stuff that comes up
You’ll get a straight answer from me.
I’m not here to sell you more tech. I’m here to help you make good decisions about the tech and systems you already rely on.
There will always be another tool, another upgrade, or another company telling you there's something you need to make your business better. Sometimes they're right. Sometimes they're trying to sell you something. And sometimes what you already have works just fine.
I want to understand what you're trying to do and help you decide what actually makes sense. If something is worth paying for, I'll tell you why. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too.
You don't need to know all the technical terms, either. I'll ask questions when I need to and explain what matters in a way that makes sense.

About Me
Hi, I'm Kate.
I’m the person behind KDV Support, and I’m usually happiest when someone hands me something and says, “I have no idea what I’m supposed to do with this.”
I also don't believe running a business means you need to become an expert in every piece of technology you use. Some things you’ll want to understand and handle yourself. Other things you’ll happily never think about again. I’m good with either.
What matters to me is that you feel comfortable coming to me. If you're not sure whether I can help, ask anyway. We'll figure out where to go from there.
I’ve worked with Kate for nearly five years, and she’s been a total godsend. She helps with everything from editing and design to figuring out tricky tech problems. Whenever I get stuck, Kate always finds a solution, even if it’s something new. She’s incredibly capable and just really great to work with.
